Conference "East and West Meet in Saint Petersburg"

For the 26th time, the Saint-Petersburg social & economic institute in partnership with with the All-Russian organization "Union of Women of Russia" and with the support of the Government of St. Petersburg is holding the International Women's Conference "East and West Meet in St. Petersburg". And for this time, in the difficult conditions of a pandemic and the global crisis.

This year, 200 participants from the regions of Russia and some foreign countries will gather in the Concert Hall Coliseum in St. Petersburg, and 500 participants from 20 countries of the world will join them online.

The purposes of the conference are:

• Analysis of the situation and its impact on women around the world.
• Active assistance in the development of a constructive dialogue between the authorities and civil society.
• Alive relationship and exchange of relevant information between women leaders, politicians, entrepreneurs, scientists, heads of public organizations from the regions of Russia, the CIS countries, the Baltic countries, Europe and the Nordic countries, the United States of America and Asia;
• Training of psychological stability and leadership qualities of a modern woman.
